Tiramisu is one of Italy's most beloved desserts. This no-bake coffee-flavored delight is made with layers of mascarpone cheese, espresso-soaked ladyfingers, and a sprinkle of cocoa powder on top.

Ingredients:
- 6 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup strong espresso, cooled
- 2 packs of ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, whisk together egg yolks and sugar over medium heat until thickened. Slowly incorporate the milk and cook until combined. Cool completely.
2. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in mascarpone cheese and the cooled egg mixture.
3. Dip ladyfingers in espresso, then layer them in a dish. Alternate layers with the mascarpone mixture. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, then dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Cannoli

Another iconic treat, cannoli are crispy pastry shells filled with a creamy filling of ricotta cheese, sugar, and chocolate chips. They make for a perfect dessert after any Italian meal.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- Oil for frying

Instructions:
1. Combine flour, sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in egg white and Marsala wine to form a dough. Wrap and chill for an hour.
2. Roll out dough thinly and cut into circles. Wrap around cannoli tubes and seal edges.
3. Fry the shells in hot oil until golden and crisp. Drain and cool.
4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, and chocolate chips. Fill the cooled shells just before serving.

Panettone

No feast in Italy is complete without panettone, a sweet bread loaf filled with candied fruits and nuts, perfect for festive occasions or as a delicious breakfast treat.

Ingredients:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup mixed candied fruits
- 1/2 cup raisins
- Zest of one orange

Instructions:
1. In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let it foam for about 10 minutes.
2. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well and add the yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs. Knead until smooth.
3. Fold in fruits and zest. Let the dough rise for 2 hours in a warm place.
4. Shape into a loaf and place in a panettone paper mold. Let rise again for about an hour.
5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 45-50 minutes. Cool before serving.
