Ingredients: - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts - Salt and pepper, to taste - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 1 cup sliced mushrooms - 1/2 cup dry Marsala wine - 1/2 cup chicken broth - 1/4 cup heavy cream - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

1. Begin by pounding the chicken breasts to an even thickness, then season them with salt and pepper. 2. Dredge the seasoned chicken breasts in flour, shaking off any excess.

3. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.

4. Cook the chicken breasts in the skillet until they are golden brown on both sides and fully cooked through. This should take about 3-4 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the chicken.

5. Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

6. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and olive oil. Sauté the sliced mushrooms until they are tender and browned.

7. Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

8. Let the sauce simmer and reduce by half, then stir in the heavy cream.

9. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, coating them in the Marsala sauce.

10. Allow the chicken to heat through in the sauce for a few minutes, ensuring it is well coated.

11. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top before serving.

12. Serve the Chicken Marsala hot, accompanied by your choice of pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
